Do I have to use both Concealer shade and the Brightener in the Sheer Cover Conceal & Brighten Trio or can I use both the products individually? 

Although the Concealer, with two shades, and the Brightener were developed to be used together, they can be used individually as well. The Concealer can be used under the eyes to hide dark circles, and on the eyelids to minimize redness and act as a primer for eye shadow. It also can be used on the rim of the nose to hide redness. In addition, the Concealer can be used on top of birthmarks, dark spots and other imperfections to help them blend away. The two shades of Concealer allow you to customize to perfectly match your skin tone and adjust for the change in seasons. The Brightener can be used in the corners of tired eyes to help instantly make them "perk up." The Brightener also can be used on the brow bones to give a lifted look to the upper eyelids, and at the top of the cheekbones to add a glow.

What's the best way to apply the Sheer Cover Concealer, which is part of the Conceal & Brighten Trio?

You can use either the Sheer Cover Concealer Brush or your fingertip to apply the Concealer. Apply the Concealer by lightly dabbing it onto the designated areas. Layer and blend well until you reach desired coverage.

I tried each of the Concealer shades in the Sheer Cover Conceal & Brighten Trio individually, but I can't seem to get an exact match. What can I do? 

Although they can be used alone, the two Concealer shades were developed to be used together to help achieve a perfect color match. Blend and layer the two shades until you reach your desired color. Follow with application of the Perfect Shade® Mineral Foundation.

How can I use the Sheer Cover Sun-Kissed Bronzing Minerals?

How often should I use my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush?
Just like a typical toothbrush, you should use your Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush at least twice a day, every day, and remember to floss daily, too.

How do I charge my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush?
Charge your new Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush a minimum of 24 hours prior to your first brushing. Then feel free to store your Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush in the charger base when not in use, plugged in, for maximum battery life. Your brush can retain a charge for approximately two weeks of normal use (two times a day).

Why doesn't the charging light on my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush turn on when I place the handle in the charging case?
This usually means the brush is fully charged. When the battery's low that's when the light will come on to show you the battery's getting recharged.

How does the timer on the Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush work?
The built-in brushing timer will guide you to brush for the dentist-recommended two minutes. The timer has a 30-second interval which will tell you when it's time to switch to another quadrant of your mouth.

I feel a tingling sensation when I first use my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush. Is this normal?
Yes, it is because the Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush cleans differently, it can feel strange to new users. The most common reaction to using a sonic toothbrush for the first time is a tingling sensation on the gums, which is not harmful. Also, you do not need to apply as much pressure when using the Vibrite® toothbrush as you do with a manual toothbrush. In a short time, brushing with the Vibrite toothbrush will feel completely normal.

Should my gums be tender after I use my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush?
If you have gum disease, haven't been using a power toothbrush or don't floss regularly, you may experience some tenderness with your Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush. Be sure you're applying only light pressure to your teeth and gums. Your gums should feel less tender within a few days of use.

How do I avoid "splattering" when using my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush?
Be sure to place the brush head in your mouth before you press the power button and keep your mouth closed around the brush while brushing.

Do I have to store my Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush handle and brush heads in the charging case?
Given that you cannot overcharge your Vibrite® Sonic Toothbrush, feel free to store it in the charging case along with the brush heads. Since your Vibrite® will hold its charge for approximately two weeks of normal use (brushing twice a day for two minutes), you can also choose to keep it out of the charger for much of the time. Also its extended charge time makes it perfect for travel.

How often should I replace my brush head?
We recommend replacing your brush head every 3 months. Brush heads should be replaced even if they don't look worn because an overly used brush head compromises the effectiveness of your Vibrite® sonic toothbrush. Make sure you purchase authorized Vibrite brush heads that are designed to fit your handle.

Can men use Specific Beauty®?
Yes, Specific Beauty® can be used by men.

I am using the Specific Beauty® regimen for the first time. What do I need to know?
The Specific Beauty® regimen is designed to help visibly even skin tone, smooth texture, brighten and restore radiance. Always review the directions before using any product. Some products are meant to be used for a limited time.

How quickly can I expect to see results?
You should start to see visibly smoother, more even, and radiant skin within 6 weeks of using Specific Beauty®. The appearance of more stubborn dark marks may take longer, but they will continue to gradually fade with time and continued use.

Will Specific Beauty® products work on oily skin?
Yes. For oily skin, the Purifying Cleanser and the Skin Brightening Toner are excellent choices. We recommend combining that with the Radiance Repair Night treatment which contains retinol.

I have sensitive skin. Can I use this product?
Customers with sensitive skin should first test the product on a small patch of skin behind the ear, or on the back of their hand or forearm before using as directed.

We recommend starting with the Gentle Cleanser and the Dark Spot Corrector Pads. The Replenishing Moisture Complex is also very helpful for dry sensitive skin. 

Can I use this product if I have a medical condition?

Is there any type of skin discoloration Specific Beauty® cannot treat?

Yes. The Radiance Repair Night Treatment and the Intensive Skin Brightening Serum contain retinol which is helpful for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Do you have any products for acne prone skin?
Specific Beauty® does not have an acne treatment currently. 
You can combine the Dark Spot Corrector Pads and the Skin Brightening Serum with your acne regimen to help improve the appearance of dark spots caused by acne. 
The Purifying Cleanser contains salicylic acid which is a great ingredient for skin prone to breakouts.

Do you have any products to prevent acne?
Specific Beauty® does not have an acne treatment currently. The Purifying Cleanser contains salicylic acid which is a great ingredient for skin prone to breakouts.

Will these products repair skin with mild acne scars?
If you have dark marks from acne, you can combine the Dark Spot Corrector Pads and the Intensive Skin Brightening Serum with your acne regimen to help improve the appearance of dark spots caused by acne. 

If you have indentations in the skin from acne, then skin care is not the best choice. Consult with your dermatologist.

Does the Skin Brightening Toner help with oil control? 
Yes, the Specific Beauty® Skin Brightening Toner is very helpful for oil control.

Do any of your products treat the under-eye area (dark circles, lines, puffiness etc.)?
The Lightening & Brightening Eye Cream is the best choice for treating the delicate under-eye skin. An exclusive combination of Niacinamide, Vitamins A, C and E and CoQ10 visibly diminish the appearance of dark circles, fine lines, and wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid works with Green Tea and Cucumber Extracts to help smooth and brighten the look of skin.

Will Specific Beauty® products help reduce the appearance of a mustache shadow?
Starting slow in this area is recommended as the upper lip tends to be sensitive. We recommend the Dark Spot Corrector Pads along with the Replenishing Moisture Complex to combat dryness in this area.

How does the Purifying Cleansing Brush work with this regimen?
The facial brush is an excellent exfoliator and pairs well with the products in the Specific Beauty® line. However, it must be used with caution when combined with prescription strength skin care products. One example is prescription retinoids. Retinoids exfoliate the top layers of the skin and can cause peeling. In this case, daily use of a facial brush could be irritating especially in people with sensitive skin.

Does this work for Melasma?
Yes, Specific Beauty® products help improve the appearance of melasma on the face. Use the full regimen for best results. Please consult with your doctor/health care professional before using Specific Beauty® products if you have a disease.

Can it lighten dark spots on the body?
Yes, Specific Beauty® products help improve the appearance of dark marks on the body. You may consider targeting smaller areas on the body as the product sizes are designed for facial skincare.

Do your products work on burn scars?

Burn scars usually have very deep dermal pigment. Unfortunately, deep dermal pigment is difficult to treat with topical skin care products. However, if the pigment is superficial then Specific Beauty® products may be helpful in improving the appearance of burn scars. I use a low dose hydrocortisone. Can I use Specific Beauty® with hydrocortisone?

Yes, the Specific Beauty® regimen can be used in conjunction with hydrocortisone.

I have rosacea. Can I use Specific Beauty® with rosacea?

Yes. However, please keep in mind that rosacea-prone skin can be especially sensitive. It is recommended to start using one product at a time and incorporate additional products from the regimen slowly. Please consult with your doctor/health care professional before using Specific Beauty® products if you have a disease.

Do you have any suggestions for sagging skin?
For deep wrinkles and sagging skin, skincare products are not as effective. However, the Radiance Report Night Treatment contains retinol which is extremely helpful in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Does it help with vitiligo?

No. The Specific Beauty® line is not designed to treat vitiligo. Please consult with your doctor/health care professional before using Specific Beauty® products if you have a disease.

Why are gentle cleansers important for dry, sensitive skin?
Dry skin should be addressed with both gentle cleansers and moisturizers. The first step is choosing a gentle cleanser that will not strip the skin of its natural oils. Specific Beauty® Daily Gentle Cleanser is an ultra-gentle cleanser that does not contain harsh detergents.

What causes uneven skin tone?
Melanin, the component responsible for our rich hues and complexions, is highly reactive and can over produce pigmentation with just the slightest stimulus. People with multi-hued skin tones can simply get uneven skin tone with aging. This usually starts in the 30’s and 40’s. Specific Beauty® is a breakthrough system that was specifically formulated to deliver a more even-toned complexion and a brighter, more supple, youthful-looking radiance.

Does Specific Beauty® only work for woman of color?
It will work for all skin types to improve the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone.

How can I test for an allergic reaction?

Does Specific Beauty® use physical or chemical sun blockers?

What is the shelf life of these products? Do they expire?
The shelf life of unopened products without a noted expiration date on the packaging is 24 months. Some products have designated expiration dates located on the product packaging. If an expiration date is noted on the package please use it as your official guide.

Will these products cover redness?
The Body Coverage Perfector is designed to easily camouflage skin imperfections and discolorations including varicose veins, bruises, age spots and even tattoos.

Can I use these products if I have Rosacea?
We recommend you consult your physician with any concerns before starting any new makeup routine, including Westmore Beauty.

Can people with sensitive skin use these products?
If there are any concerns, we recommend that you perform a ‘sensitive skin test’ by applying the product on a small patch of skin to see if irritation occurs. Wait at least 24 hours to see if there is any negative reaction. Discontinue use if any irritation or rash occurs.

Will these products affect acne prone skin?
